The Problem

Bad cabling is a hidden tax on your business.

You can't see it, until Wi-Fi drops mid-call or a new hire has nowhere to plug in. Most cabling problems are installed on day one and paid for every day after.

Slow, flaky connections

Old or poorly terminated cable throttles even a fast internet plan.

Our fix: properly terminated, tested runs.

The "rat's nest" closet

Unlabeled cables make every change a guessing game and a service call.

Our fix: neat racks, labeled ends, clear docs.

No room to grow

Every new hire or device turns into another patchwork fix.

Our fix: planned drops with room to scale.

Dead zones and downtime

Weak Wi-Fi coverage and random outages cost you time and customers.

Our fix: wired backbone for access points and devices.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot.

What is low voltage wiring?

Low voltage wiring carries data and signals rather than power for lights and outlets. It covers the network cabling behind your computers and Wi-Fi, security cameras, door access systems, and the wiring for displays and projectors.

What is structured cabling, and why does it matter?

Structured cabling is a planned, standardized cabling system: data drops at each workspace, running back to a patch panel in an organized rack. It matters because it's faster, easier to troubleshoot, and simple to expand, compared with cables added one at a time over the years.

Which cable do I need: Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6A?

Cat5e handles most everyday office needs. Cat6 gives more headroom for faster speeds and heavier use, and Cat6A is built for the most demanding and future-proof setups. We'll recommend what fits your space and budget after a quick walk-through.

How do you test the cabling?

Every cable run is tested before we call a job done, and we don't request sign-off until 100% pass. If you want documentation for a compliance or warranty need, we can add optional Fluke certification testing with a report.

Can you add drops after the walls are closed?

Yes, but it costs more than adding them during construction, because it involves cutting into finished walls. We price post-drywall drops separately and get your written approval before we cut anything, so there are no surprises.

How does pricing work?

We quote in clear per-item pricing, such as trace, label, terminate, and optional certification, so you can see exactly what you're paying for. Projects typically start with a 50% deposit and the balance due at completion. Your written quote lists scope and exclusions.

Do you work with general contractors on new construction?

Yes. We work as a low voltage subcontractor on new builds and tenant improvements, and we coordinate around your schedule and trades. Send us your plans for a quote.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the Cincinnati tri-state area across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, roughly two counties in every direction from Cincinnati. If you're near the edge of that range, contact us and we'll let you know.
